Account deletion
Delete your Vorber account and data.
How to ask for your Vorber account, workspace and data to be deleted, for the Vorber Android app (com.vorber.app) and Vorber CRM.
Last reviewed 17 October 2026
Who this applies to
- This page applies to the Vorber Android app (package com.vorber.app) and to Vorber CRM. Both are provided by Vorber Technology Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 16395984, registered office Office 7, 35-37 Ludgate Hill, London, EC4M 7JN.
- Customer records belong to the company workspace, which is managed by its administrator. Removing a user removes their login; the records they created stay in the workspace. Only a workspace administrator can close the company account.
How to request deletion
- Workspace administrators: use the close-account option in the administration area of the Vorber CRM workspace app. This closes the company account and starts deletion of the workspace and its data.
- Users created by an administrator cannot delete their own account themselves. Ask your workspace administrator to remove you, or email [email protected].
- By email (anyone): email [email protected] from the address on your Vorber account with the subject Account deletion request, and say your workspace name and whether you want your user account or the whole workspace deleted. Workspace closure requests must come from an administrator. You can also use https://vorber.com/contact.
- The vorber.com website itself has no self-service delete option. Vorber may need to confirm your identity and the relevant account before acting on a request.
What is deleted
- Your user account and sign-in details.
- For a workspace closure: the workspace and its CRM data, including customer records, notes, tasks, voice recordings, transcripts, Mobile Connect items, business card photos and card drafts.
- Your own customer invoices held in the workspace are given to you in an exit pack (invoice pack) when the account closes, and are not kept by Vorber afterwards. Please export anything else you need before deletion.
What is kept, and for how long
- Vorber's own invoices to you are kept for 6 years for tax purposes.
- Security and sign-in logs are kept for 6 years.
- A record of your deletion request (date, requester and outcome, with no other personal data) is kept for 6 years.
- Deleted data may remain in protected backups for up to 30 days.
How long it takes
- If you ask us to delete your account by emailing [email protected], we close it straight away and your workspace data is deleted within 30 days of your request. If you instead cancel your subscription, your account closes at the end of the paid period and your workspace data is deleted within 30 days after that.
Deleting some data without deleting your account
- Single recordings: delete a recording yourself on the Mobile Connect page. This removes the audio and its transcript; customer notes you have already saved stay.
- Uploaded audio is kept until you remove it, delete the recording, or your workspace is deleted. Removing only the audio keeps the transcript and action plan. Delete recording removes the recording, its transcript and action plan, but not notes or appointments you have already saved to your CRM.
- Card drafts: on the Scan business cards page, discard a draft you do not want to save. Its card photo is deleted automatically by the daily clean-up once it is 30 days old. All card photos, including any attached to a customer or contact record, are deleted this way; the contact details you saved stay in your CRM.
- Other records: delete them in Vorber CRM if your role allows it, or ask your administrator.
- Uninstalling the app does not delete your account or data.
